The Moonscape collection began when I started saving silver filings and fusing the lovely silver dust to the surface of silver sheet. A process that requires a steady hand, a keen eye, and hot torch, fusing takes place on the verge of the melting temperature of silver, ~ 1600°! This in conjunction with tiny hammered “craters” created the most beautiful texture reminiscent of our Moon’s surface! Moon measures 3/8” in diameter. Choice of silver or gold-filled chain in either 16” or 18” length.
This item is handmade to order and each piece will vary slightly as such. Please allow about one week for your necklace to be crafted.
